Title: Dr. Chan's Cancer Healing
Cancer Prevention and Self-Healing
Author: Y. C. Chan, O.M.D.

by David Fishlowitz
Cancer is the most serious, deadly disease in the world, according to Dr. Yeh Chong Chan, who is the author of Dr. Chan's Cancer Healing; Cancer Prevention and Self-Healing. In 1983, Dr. Chan was diagnosed with terminal lymphatic cancer and given only a few months to live.

Through his own program of self-treatment, Dr. Chan made a miraculous recovery and is Cancer-free today.

This book explains Dr. Chan's methods of dealing with cancer, preventing it, and signs of cancer to watch for Dr. Chan recommends acupuncture as a way of controlling pain associated with cancer. Acupuncture uses needles to channel pain to another point, the idea is to turn the nervous system away from the problem area. Other remedies include dietary guidelines, meditation, exercise, and stress reduction. Vegetarian meals are endorsed by Dr. Chan as well as vitamins, avoiding junk food, and drinking lots of water. Dr. Chan also recommends spine exercises, bath exercise, ear-pulling massage and foot massages. Another important and often neglected method of self-healing is smiling. This, Dr. Chan writes, will help you stay happy. Along with the obvious boost in appearance, smiling will reduce the lines around your face, relax your chest, and get more oxygen into your body. This book has illustrations of treatment exercises and Dr. Chan with his family.
